FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Semaglutide given as a prescription?
Yes. Our Miami office provides Semaglutide and Tirzepatide injections by prescription and are available for BOTH IN PERSON VISITS AND TELEMEDICINE CONSULTATIONS with shipping options. For those, in the Miami/Broward area we also offer doorstep delivery services.
Do you take insurance?
No. Insurance coverage varies significantly between various medical treatment plans. Some insurers may cover part or all of the cost if the patient has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. However, for weight loss treatments alone, health insurances do not cover SEMAGLUTIDE OR TIRZEPATIDE injections unless prescribed for diabetes management. We are hopeful this may change in the future, but it doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon. Efforts are being made to improve coverage for obesity treatments, but progress is slow. We do not recommend waiting as this will delay the health and happiness that our weight loss patients have already begun experiencing.
