Gooooal for Your Health! How to Enjoy the World Games in Miami the Wellness Way

World Games in Miami

By Dr. Sende Wellness | Weight Loss & Peptide Clinic

The energy in Miami right now is unlike anything we’ve seen in years. Flags are flying from car windows, jerseys are everywhere you look, and the city has officially gone World Games crazy — and honestly, we’re here for it.

This summer, Miami is hosting seven international soccer matches at Miami Stadium (Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens), featuring powerhouse teams like Brazil, Portugal, and Colombia. Add in the free fan festival at Bayfront Park running through July 5, and South Florida has become the soccer capital of the world for the next several weeks.

At Dr. Sende Wellness, we believe celebrating life is part of living well. So we’ve put together your complete guide to enjoying the World Games in Miami — with a few smart wellness tips to keep your energy high, your body feeling great, and your health goals on track while the whole city parties.

Miami’s 2026 World Games Match Schedule — Mark Your Calendar

Here are the seven international matches coming to Miami Stadium so you can plan ahead:

The tournament runs June 11 through July 19, 2026 — so we still have plenty of incredible soccer ahead!

Where to Watch in Miami (Without a Stadium Ticket)

Don’t have tickets to the game? No problem. Miami has set up some incredible free viewing options across the city:

🏟️ Fan Festival at Bayfront Park The crown jewel of Miami’s World Games celebrations runs June 13 through July 5 at Bayfront Park (301 Biscayne Blvd.). This free, 23-day fan destination features live match broadcasts on giant screens, concerts, cultural performances, interactive soccer activities, food vendors, and even “Soccer on the Bay” water shows with jet ski soccer. Hours vary by day, but it typically runs from noon into the evening. No registration required — just show up!

🌊 Miami Beach Bandshell The City of Miami Beach is hosting watch parties at the Sand Bowl (72nd Street & Collins Avenue) on select match days, paired with live music and food and drinks for purchase. A great beachfront option if you want sand between your toes while you watch the game.

🎉 Wynwood Marketplace Through June 24, Wynwood is hosting a Brazilian soccer pop-up with Fogo de Chão featuring daily watch parties, live music, wellness activities, and soccer clinics — plus a massive final tailgate party. Located at 2250 NW 2nd Ave.

🏘️ Community Watch Parties Miami’s host committee is sponsoring free watch parties with giant viewing screens in parks and neighborhood spaces throughout South Florida for the tournament’s biggest matches, bringing the excitement directly into local communities.

Enjoying the Party Without Derailing Your Goals

Here’s the thing — the World Games are long. Seven weeks of games, watch parties, and late nights can add up. We see this every year in our clinic: patients who were making great progress suddenly feel like they “lost momentum” during a big social stretch. (Sound familiar? Read our guide on maintaining your weight loss goals while traveling — the same principles apply here.)

You haven’t lost anything. You just need a strategy.

Hydration is your secret weapon. Miami’s summer heat plus standing in a packed crowd equals serious fluid loss. Aim for at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily — and if you’re drinking alcohol at the watch party, match each drink with a glass of water. This simple habit makes a bigger difference than most people realize, both for how you feel and for weight management.

Peptide support can keep your energy game-day ready. Many of our patients using peptide therapy — including peptides like BPC-157 and CJC-1295/Ipamorelin — report sustained energy levels, better recovery, and improved sleep quality even during high-activity, high-stress social stretches. Want to go deeper? Check out our post on peptides and biohacking your fitness. If you’ve been curious about how peptides can help you feel your best all summer long, now is a great time to schedule a consultation.

Smart stadium and watch party snacking. You don’t have to skip the fun food. Choose grilled options over fried when possible, share apps with the group instead of having your own, and eat something protein-rich before you go so you’re not making decisions on an empty stomach surrounded by nachos. (We all know how that ends.) If you’re on a GLP-1 or weight loss program, these habits work synergistically with your treatment to keep you on track.

Keep moving between matches. With games happening almost daily, it’s easy to slip into a sedentary watching routine. Take a walk to the stadium, bike to Bayfront Park, or use the between-game days for a workout. Movement is medicine — and it also helps offset some of that social eating and drinking. Our post on Miami peptides and fitness goals has more on how to keep your body performing well even during busy social seasons.

Protect your sleep. Late-night games + celebratory energy + Miami summer = a recipe for sleep deprivation. Poor sleep is one of the biggest hidden drivers of weight gain and hormonal imbalance. Try to anchor your wake time even if you’re staying up late, and consider discussing sleep optimization strategies with our team — this is something peptide protocols can directly support.
